History

The company was established in 1995 and started originally with trading of a variety of parts and equipment for the local marine and construction industry. Gradually the company grew and also started to supply various services for marine industry and related markets. Over the last 25 years a vast knowledge has been build out in marine engineering regarding supplying of parts and services. Early line of business was sales of fishing equipment and construction machinery within a limited sector of the industry. As time progressed, Taitech Marine gradually developed a loyal clientele and gained a reputation for reliability and commitment to deliver quality services and products. As the company grew, the line of products was expanded to include a variety of new and reconditioned machinery for shipping, mining, fabrication and related industries. The product line then included (air starting) compressors, hydraulic pumps and motors, welding machines, marine and other types of winches, centrifugal pumps, generators and engines. At the same time, Taitech Marine started to engage in providing (after sales) services for its products, mainly to the marine industry. This was due to demand from the industry itself for having a good service partner. Through the years, the importance of the services has increased making it now an integral part of the business. The technical services now include troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and modification services for a wide range of products as well as some structural and shipwright works for the marine industry. The capacity has grown from small size service jobs to management of complex repairs projects such as ship propulsion plants, hydraulic systems and even complete ship repairs for vessels up to 5000GT. Today, Taitech Marine Sales and Services Corporation is well known player in the local marine industry with long-standing associates. We are always there to help our customers.
